My good friend Reid Hoffman was just named as one of the "50 People that Matter" by Business 2.0. Only #22 :-), but he crushes Oprah, who came in at #38.

JPod : A Novel

Douglas Coupland

Experimenting with vox -- seeing how I like it as a blogging platform. The AJAX-y tools are terrific -- but think I wish it worked with Ecto (my application on OS X). Really, really easy to post links about books  & videos & such.

Anyway, Coupland is one of my favorite authors, and Hey Nostradamus and Microserfs are 2 of my favorite books.

This one was **okay** but not great. Was missing something. A little too self-referential. But captures much of the essence of the technical age we're in and the experience of what it feels like day-to-day in these technology companies.
